Pairing the String Lights to the App:
Adapter Instruction
ā¢ Short press to turn the light on or off.
ā¢ Long press for 5-10 seconds to enter the pairing blinking state or reset.
What You Need:
ā¢Ā A Wi-Fi router supports the 2.4GHz band. 5GHz isĀ not supported.
ā¢ A smartphone or tablet running IOS or Android.
ā¢ Download Smart App from the App Store or Google Play
ā¢ Turn on your phone's Bluetooth, WLAN, Cellular (Mobile data), and Location (while using the app) and allow the App to use them.
ā¢ Near your phone to the adapter while connecting, withinĀ Bluetooth or Wi-Fi coverage.
Note:
ā¢Ā After the light is successfully paired to App via 2.4G Wi-Fi, you can control it via the app at anytime, regardless of whether the phone is using 5G Wi-Fi or only Cellular Ā (Mobile data).
ā¢ If no 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, you can just use Bluetooth and Cellular (Mobile data) to pair with the App. Please know that the Bluetooth connection range is within 30ft.
Pairing Steps:
- Long press the button on the adapterĀ for 5-10 seconds to enter pairing stateĀ (quickly flash).
- Open the app, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner, and a device icon will
pop up automatically. Then click theĀ "Add" and the "+" button.
- Select a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and enter theĀ correct password (case-sensitive).Then
click "Next".Ā (If you do not have Wi-Fi in use, youĀ can click "Skip" to pair via Bluetooth.Ā Note that Bluetooth connectionsĀ CANNOT use some smart features)
- Wait for the device to finish adding,Ā then click "Done". The device can nowĀ be controlled
