How to Submit a Warranty Claim
To begin a warranty claim, please visit our Returns Portal at:
https://www.sunbrightlighting.com/apps/redo/returns-portal
After accessing the portal, please complete the following steps:
- Complete the return request form
- Select “File a Warranty Claim”
- Select the product associated with the issue
- Upload clear photo and/or video documentation showing the concern
- Submit your warranty request for review
Once your request has been submitted and approved, a prepaid return shipping label will be generated for the item to be returned for evaluation.
Warranty Review Requirements
Photo and video documentation is required as part of the warranty process to help our technical team properly assess the issue before requesting the item back.
Please understand that product malfunction is not always caused by a manufacturing defect. Installation conditions and external components can also contribute to performance issues, including but not limited to:
- Incorrect or loose wiring
- Incompatible or failing transformers/drivers
- Voltage irregularities
- Improper installation methods
- Moisture or water intrusion
- Third-party accessories or components
Providing detailed documentation helps us troubleshoot more efficiently and, in some cases, may allow us to resolve the issue without requiring the product to be returned.
Product Inspection & Warranty Resolution
Once the returned item is received at our facility, our technicians will inspect and test the product within approximately 72 business hours.
If the product is determined to be defective under warranty coverage, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the item, or
- Replace the item if repair is not possible
The repaired or replacement product will then be shipped back to the customer.
If testing confirms that the product is functioning properly and no defect is found, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
Advance Replacement Option
Customers who prefer not to wait for the inspection process may contact us regarding an advance replacement option.
Under this process, a replacement product may be purchased prior to the defective unit being returned. Once the original unit is received and inspected, we may issue a refund for the replacement purchase if the following conditions are met:
- The product shows no signs of tampering, misuse, or unauthorized modification
- Proper installation procedures were followed
- Testing confirms the product failed under normal operating conditions
Upon approval, the purchased replacement unit will be treated as the warranty replacement item.
Please note:
- Warranty periods are based on the original purchase date only
- Warranty coverage does not restart or extend after a replacement is issued
- All claims remain subject to final inspection and approval by our technical department
Warranty Limitations & Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage or failure resulting from:
- Improper installation
- Misuse, abuse, or negligence
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations
- Incorrect voltage or electrical surges
- Water damage due to improper sealing or installation conditions
- Use of incompatible transformers, drivers, or third-party accessories
Sun Bright Lighting reserves the right to deny warranty coverage for products that do not meet warranty eligibility requirements after inspection.
