It is Heavy Duty 316 Stainless Steel so no need to worry about any type of corrosion on your light and with the IP68 waterproof rating, it is certified and safe to be underwater. It is available in both a 5 Wire RGBW option or 2 Wire RGB Option. Being 12V Low Voltage, it is a much safer option for spas and jacuzzi compared to the traditional high voltage lights that can be a huge safety issue if any power happens to go into the spa or jacuzzi.
The 15 Watt RGBW 12V DC Pool Light comes with a 5-wire connection which can be connected to its Wi-Fi controller and remote which contains a color wheel with 50,000 combinations of colors. It also has Wi-Fi capabilities to be connected and controlled via smart phone.
The 15 Watt RGB 12V AC Pool/Spa Light comes with a 2 Wire connection which can be connected directly to the transformer and switches color via a rapid on/off action. When quickly turned on and off (Within 3 seconds), it jumps to the next color or mode. Once left on a color/mode for more than 5 seconds, it stays on that setting until changed again with a rapid on/off action.
The smooth color change quality of the light gives a nice ambiance to your backyard or pool area and great for parties and kids to enjoy. It has a flush mount finish to it sitting at 6.1" (Diameter) x .3" (Width). It is 12 Volt Power so installation is super easy and can also be connected to your low voltage landscape lighting system to all be controlled together. Less hassle with having to worry if your light is on or not and glues the rest of the landscape lighting all together. It also comes with 50 ft, 100 ft, or 150 ft (RGBW) or 15 ft, 50 ft, 100 ft, or 150 ft (RGB) of UL Listed Wire with the light fixture to fit most pools without having to add extra wire.
All low voltage outdoor lights must be installed with a 12V Low Voltage Transformer and connections between lights must be secured using Grease Filled Wire Nuts (WN12) waterproof connectors.
